Toys and Tools Winner

Hey everyone!

We received a lot of nice pics for this contest, we accepted the pictures we received after the deadline this month because the 2010 calendar was waiting for our photo session with mister October ;).

Rayne sent his pic late and when we read his text we we've been really touched and impressed by his submission. He really invested the theme and shared a piece of himself through this really simple portrait. Congratulation and we're glad to offer you the first 2010 XX Boys calendar!!

my Tool..my Blocks(split soled "hip hop shoes").I am a dancer by nature and by family trade and have spent many years training in these shoes creating all my work and wonder you will see on stage around the world. They are the foundation for my group numbers and solos and my keys to freedom. when they are on my feet i feel i can move beyond the restraints of gravity.Just me and the music and my dreams that i will pass on to my group members.I am not held down by the music so why should i be held down by my gender. With this Tool i can create,Grow strong, teach and disipline. "That there banjo is the toy that never grows old. It's a constant in my perpetually changing world. With it, I have the tool to carve away all the drama and seriousness of a day. It's my tool, it's my toy, it's very nearly a literal extension of my arm and myself."
